JOY 94.9 Picnic in the Park

Forest Glade is a private home set amid 4 hectares of beautiful gardens.

This Open Day is an annual fixture in the Midsumma Calendar, and is a fund-raising event for JOY 94.9.

Come along! Enjoy a drive in the country, have a picnic in beautiful surroundings, meet and make new friends, and support a good cause. Motafrenz will be along displaying some classic cars and the Melbourne Rainbow Band and Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus will be there to perform some amazing tunes.

Gates open 10.00am through until close at 5.00pm

Forest Glade, 816 Mt Macedon Rd, Mt Macedon

BRING: Picnic, hat, sunscreen, rug or chair and warm clothes if cold (it will always be several degrees colder on Mt Macedon than the forecast Melbourne temperature)

BBQs and pets are not permitted

Organise a car pool with a designated driver

All rubbish must be taken when you leave

Getting to Forest Glade

Forest Glade is less than an hour's drive from Melbourne.

Take the Tullamarine (CityLink) freeway, then the Calder Freeway, and turn right at Gisborne into Mount Macedon Road.

Drive through the township of Mt Macedon. About 1 km after the township you will see Forest Glade on the right-hand side. You will see a number of cars parked on the side of the road and you should also see JOY signage and balloons along the way.
