JOY has a strong Community Service Announcement (CSA) program, which informs and educates our listeners about activities and services within the GLBTI communities.
CSA’s are free of charge and are only available to not-for-profit organisations and applicable to campaigns in the areas of HIV/Aids and health, social support groups, social justice, public awareness, community based activities, and issues and events in the public interest. CSA requests are handled in a range of ways to accommodate the large volume of requests for community service. This includes recorded campaigns, live read campaigns and information forwarded to programs for live reads.
To facilitate the administration & production of a CSA we require all details to be submitted a minimum of four (4) weeks before the announcement goes to air.
CSA’s can run up to six months, so please make sure the information you include will be correct for that length of time. If your announcement is for a specific event it will run for two weeks. We are unable to guarantee broadcast of these announcements, but we will do our best.
